Requirements:

• BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies(3 year plus university degree course covering developmental psychology, sociology, education, learning theories & pedagogy)
• 6 month + work experience working in a day nursery/kindergarten (early childhood setting) for babies and young children from birth to 6(essential to work in North-Rhine-Westphalia)
• Language skills: Native speaker or native-level English C2 plus and good knowledge of German B2 (entry level at least B1 and a commitment to achieve B2 within first 10 months). See Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
• Initiative in the implementation of our bilingual concept (Immersion Method) in cooperation with your German-speaking colleagues as a team
• Self-responsibility and motivation
• Creativity, organizational skills and a structured approach to work
• Enthusiasm and patience while working caringly with young children
• Respectful and polite communication with children, parents and colleagues
• Registration with the Central Office for Foreign Education to receive a Statement of Comparability for Foreign Higher Education Qualifications upon employer approval
